Trouble with set and actors

We do seem to have occurrence of problems but we do over come them. Firstly time and location is a big one because our film is set in the day and night and we need to pick the correct location, actors has been another issue but has been sorted out now with changing one of our actors because they couldn't make it so now we have someone who has more free time.

Filming

A problem had occurred whilst filming with an actor that could no longer take part but it was resolved. We decided to film the detective interrogating Marylin about her husbands murder, we had lots of props like sofa, chair and some tempory walls and a telephone. Another advantage was that we used the school theatre which was very helpful to our scene.

Filming process in pictures

As i wasn't in this scene i thought it was a good idea to take a few pictures to see how set, and characters.

Here above is our 2 detectives in costume

Tom (camera man sorting out the lighting which took a while but we got     there in the end)

Our first day of filming

During this we had a few problems with the street being busy with cars, and people walking past this did take upto about an hour then the camera battery died but we will only be using little parts of the footage taken.

Planning

We decided to create a schedule when we should film, create our poster and do blogging. This will ensure we'll have plently of time to edit our short film.

Recording

This is a picture of (Kirsty Rice) who is playing our main character `Marilyn' walking up the street having come home from work and (Tom Johnson) who is our camera man. Having had to record the same part a few times to make sure it was looked correct here is a picture of our working progress, with it being dark quality because we wanted to film at night with the effect of the street lights on.
